Making her night really made mine
Tonight was a blast as there was a regional YSA dance in the parking lot of the Quest building in Logan. It was outside and a blast, it rained off and on. But the best part of the night was in the last 10 minutes or so. I met Jill, she was really nice. She has down syndrome and really just tries to fit in. She was dancing in our circle and half way through the song she dedicated some sweet moves to me, I felt pretty special and so I did my very best to let her know my appriciation. After that the final slow song came on, and so I made her night. I was her final dance of the night. She loved it and even told me that she was going to go home and name a star after me. And she told everyone around that I was her first boyfriend. So in reality it was my night that was made. I really had so much fun during that last dance and to see the joy on her face was really the best part of my whole night.

Elbows . . . Huh?
Student orientation has begun at Utah State and so I spend my mornings recruiting new members for the HURD. Quick background the HURD is the student section for Utah State athletic events. So we have a lot of fun and it was very educational as well, kind of. Wild Bill was there helping bring people in and taught us an interesting fact. It is about touching, yeah kind of weird I know. But here is how it goes, it is all about beginning a conversation then at a crucial point wither touching the persons forearm or elbow. OK I know it sounds kind of weird and creepy but here is the thing, is that it will cause some sort of stimulation that will help drive your point home, and there is no conclusive evidence from our little outing the past few days to say whether it is true or not but it gave us a good laugh and some fun things to joke about later.
